Data Center Space
OC3Networks occupies 4 data center zones on 4 floors in 530 W. 6th St, Los Angeles – Telecom Center LA. Each of the 4 zones operate independently with full environmental management and infrastructure redundancy.

Security
OC3Networks takes physical security seriously with Tri-layer Authentication. All authorized OC3Networks visitors must first pass the building security checkpoint before being allowed to access to elevators to our floors. Once an authorized OC3Networks staff member escorts the visitor to our 9th floor offices, their ID is checked and their access logged. Only then are they escorted to one of our many data center floors. Each Datacenter is protected by double doors with redundant authorization (Access Key Cards are required to enter each data center floor).

Power
Each of our data center floors is independently controlled and powered by separate UPS and generator sets. With the option to choose multiple UPS redundancy levels, OC3Networks customers may also choose from multiple isolated datacenter environments, separating their equipment across multiple data centers for maximum redundancy. The distributed power systems are fed by multiple power grids.

Cooling Systems
Each of the isolated data center environments run independent cooling systems each with their
own built-in redundancy. Each environment runs multiple, redundant, Liebert and APC cooling units fed by separate and redundant chiller units.

Fault Tolerance
Water, power, and temperature are checked hourly by trained NOC staff to ensure no failure of monitoring systems.

Fire Protection
OC3Networks employs a range of early detection and fire suppression systems in each of the data center floors ranging from FM-200 to dual interlock dry pipe systems. Each staff member is trained in early action fire prevention and recovery.

Network Connectivity
Sharing a wall with One Wilshire, one of the most interconnected buildings in the world, OC3Networks currently has over 50Gbps of network capacity to 3 independent meet me rooms. Our large premium bandwidth uniquely blends 8 major T1 carriers plus hundreds of peers redundantly connected via dark fiber to 3 major meet me rooms.
